Secondary 2 Subject Combination Exercise 2026
Choosing an Upper Secondary subject combination is an important milestone in every Springfielder's learning journey. The Subject Combination Exercise helps our Secondary 2 students make informed decisions about the subjects they will study in Upper Secondary, based on their interests, strengths, aspirations, and academic readiness.
Through the Subject Combination Exercise, students will learn more about the various subject offerings, understand the eligibility requirements for different combinations, and consider how their choices may relate to their future educational and career pathways.
Briefing for Parents / 29 May 2026
Parents play a key role in guiding and supporting their child through the Subject Combination Exercise. We encourage parents to engage their child in thoughtful conversations about their interests, strengths, and aspirations.
These discussions can help students gain a deeper understanding of themselves and make informed decisions about the subjects and pathways that best support their growth and future goals.

Final Briefing for Students / 15 Oct 2026
Following their End-of-Year Examinations, we engaged our Secondary 2 students participated in a Subject Combination Exercise Briefing to guide them in making informed decisions about their Upper Secondary subject choices. With a clearer understanding of their academic performance, students were encouraged to reflect on their strengths, interests and aspirations, and consider how these align with their future educational pathways. Through the briefing, students were guided to choose subject combinations that FITS them, empowering them to make thoughtful and purposeful decisions about the next phase of their educational journey.
