Introduction
The Springfield Explorer is Springfield Secondary School’s unique adaptation of the Ministry of Education’s Student-Initiated Learning (SIL) programme.
Guided by our vision to develop Future-Ready Learners with a Caring Heart and the Confidence to Lead. Springfield Explorer empowers students to take ownership of their learning.
Rooted in our STRIDE values (Service, Tenacity, Respect, Integrity, Diligence, Empathy) the programme encourages students to cultivate curiosity, engage in self-discovery, and apply their skills in authentic, meaningful ways.

Food Bank Singapore – assist in food sorting, packing, or volunteering in outreach and events.

HCA Hospice Care – befriend seniors, engage in creative activities, accompany them to appointments.

Voices for Animals – promote adoptions, foster rescues, or help with operations.

Promotes resilience, discipline, and healthy habits.
