Curriculum & Assessments:

We offer Basic Chinese Language, Basic Malay Language, Chinese Language, Malay Language and Higher Chinese Language.

Department Programmes:

Reading Programme
In our continuous effort to inculcate good reading habits, suitable reading materials are selected for the students. Reading packages and activities are designed to enhance the reading experience.

Podcast Programme
Our Podcast Programme aims to improve students’ oral speaking and listening skill through authentic experience.

Mother Tongue Language (MTL) Fortnight
With a variety of hands-on activities, the Mother Tongue Fortnight Programme provides an opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of their culture and heritage and to use the MTL .

Intensive Revision Programme
Students taking the ‘O’ level Mother Tongue Language will be involved in the Intensive Revision Programme. This programme aims to further equip students with the necessary skills for GCE ‘O’ level paper in June. It will take place during the last 2 weeks in Term 2.

Recent Achievements
2023
Lower secondary First and Merit Awards, upper secondary Merit Awards in the National Secondary School On-the-Spot Writing Competition.
Third in both lower secondary and upper secondary in the National Secondary Chinese Creative Writing Competition“Xin Lei Jiang”.
Third in the National Secondary Chinese Creative Writing Competition“Xin Lei Jiang” - Poetry category.

2022
First in the 7th National Secondary Chinese Poetry Writing Competition First in the National Secondary Chinese Creative Writing Competition “Xin Lei Jiang” First in Creative Writing Competition with Photography Bronze in 5th Chinese Recital Competition (Preliminary round) for individual and group category.

2021
Merit Award in the 6th National Secondary Chinese Poetry Writing Competition 2021 Gold Award in the National Secondary Chinese Creative Writing Competition “Xin Lei Jiang”
